- Intended for resolver feedback in supported ACS800 motion-control applications
- Resolver setup is based on transformation ratio, pole-pair count, and excitation frequency
- Installation is supported in an RMIO option slot or through an AIMA-01 adapter
RRIA-01 commissioning begins by matching the connected resolver and motor-feedback arrangement to the selected ACS800 application program.
Configure the documented resolver transformation ratio, select one to four pole pairs, and use the applicable 10 kHz or 20 kHz excitation setting.
Before operation, check feedback-signal phasing, cable shielding and grounding, node addressing, and whether the module is installed directly in the RMIO board or through an AIMA-01 adapter.
Availability, condition, price, and shipping time for RRIA-01 are confirmed during quotation.

- Resolver wiring uses four twisted-pair groups with individual and overall shields.
- The cable shield is earthed only at the RRIA-01 module end.
- Resolver wiring must not be routed in parallel with motor or other power cables.
- DIP switches select one, two, three, or four resolver pole pairs.
- A separate switch selection sets excitation to 10 kHz or 20 kHz.
- External AIMA-01 installations use rotary-switch node addresses 16…31.
- CHA and CHB green LEDs indicate resolver-derived channel activity.
- The yellow WD/INIT LED indicates module status and drive communication.
- The red ERR LED identifies abnormal resolver signals, wiring faults, or self-test errors.
