Features:
- Non-armored 1/4-28 UNF probe with a 1.2-inch threaded case
- 0.5 m standard triaxial lead with a protected ClickLoc connection
- Multiple-approval option for the configured 3300 5 mm probe
The 330171-00-12-05-01-05 order code fixes both the mechanical case and the attached lead, so the supplied probe can be checked against the mounting point before the transducer loop is assembled.
With zero unthreaded length, the threaded case carries the probe body through the mounting hardware rather than leaving a plain section ahead of the thread.
The connector protector shields the miniature ClickLoc joint, while the extension cable selected for the installation completes the required electrical path to the Proximitor Sensor.
The Bently Nevada 330171-00-12-05-01-05 3300 5 mm Probe may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Configured Order Blocks
- Base family: 330171 identifies a 3300 5 mm probe with 1/4-28 UNF thread and no cable armor.
- Case geometry: Blocks 00 and 12 specify no unthreaded section and a 1.2-inch overall case.
- Attached lead: Block 05 assigns a 0.5 m probe lead before the extension-cable connection.
- Connection: Block 01 supplies a standard cable, ClickLoc connector and connector protector.
- Approval set: The final 05 block selects the multiple-approval configuration.
Probe-to-Electronics Chain
- Target gap: Shaft movement changes the distance between the conductive target and the 5 mm probe tip.
- Probe lead: The 0.5 m triaxial lead carries the probe signal to the detachable cable joint.
- Extension cable: The selected extension cable completes the required system length without altering the probe body.
- Proximitor Sensor: Matched electronics convert the probe response into the usable displacement signal.
Mechanical Setup Checks
- Thread: Use the 1/4-28 UNF case with compatible mounting hardware.
- Engagement: Keep threaded engagement within the documented 0.375-inch maximum.
- Cable route: Maintain at least a 25.4 mm bend radius at turns in the attached lead.
- Target face: Provide a flat conductive target at least 15.2 mm in diameter.
Measurement Boundaries
- Linear window: Operate within the documented 0.25 to 2.3 mm probe-to-target range.
- Reference gap: A 1.27 mm nominal gap places the target near the center of the linear span.
- Dynamic response: The transducer system response extends from 0 to 10 kHz at +0/-3 dB.
- Probe temperature: The probe and its integral lead are rated from -35 to +177 °C.
