The Bently Nevada 991-06-70-01-00 Thrust Transmitter is primarily designed for OEMs of centrifugal compressors, small pumps, motors, or fans, providing simple and accurate axial displacement (thrust) signals for machinery control systems. It receives a single 3300 NSv proximity probe and extension cable (7 meters system length), converting the signal into a 4–20mA loop output, providing an engineered unit signal proportional to axial displacement, which can be used for machinery protection alarms and logic control.
This transmitter features several key functions, including an integrated proximitor sensor, non-interfering zero and range adjustment, a Test Input pin for rapid loop verification, and a Power-up Inhibit circuit to prevent signal errors caused by line transients. Additionally, a Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit prevents high output or false alarms caused by probe failure or loose wiring.
Installation is simple, using 35mm DIN rail clips or bolts for mounting. The module is potted, allowing it to withstand high humidity environments (up to 100% condensation) and ensuring long-term reliable operation.
Fully compatible with the 3300 NSv proximity probe, this transmitter allows for compact installation in confined spaces. The PROX OUT/COM interface and coaxial connector output dynamic vibration and gap signals for field diagnostics and maintenance, ensuring stable and reliable operation of industrial equipment.
