The Bently Nevada 991-25-XX-01-CN Thrust Transmitter is designed for OEMs of centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, or fans that require a simple, precise axial displacement (thrust) signal input for their machinery control systems. It accepts one 3300 NSv Proximity Probe and extension cable (available in 5 m or 7 m lengths) and converts the probe signal into a 4–20 mA loop-powered output, providing proportional engineering units to the control system for machinery protection alarms and logic.
This transmitter features an integrated Proximitor sensor, non-interacting zero and span adjustments, a Test Input pin for quick loop verification, and a Power-up Inhibit circuit to prevent signal errors during voltage transients. Additionally, the Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit prevents high outputs or false alarms due to a faulty probe or loose connection.
Installation is simplified with 35 mm DIN-rail clips or bulkhead mounting screws, and the potted construction ensures reliable operation even in high-humidity environments (up to 100% condensing).
The 991-25-XX-01-CN is compatible with the 3300 NSv proximity probe, allowing compact installation in small spaces, while the PROX OUT/COM terminals and coaxial connector provide dynamic vibration and gap signals for diagnostic purposes, ensuring long-term stable operation of industrial machinery.
