Features:
- Three guided positions for PS1000 power-supply modules
- Standard 19-inch cabinet format
- Supports capacity expansion or redundant supply arrangements
M3421 groups as many as three PS1000 converters in one serviceable mechanical assembly rather than scattering individual supplies through the cabinet.
The number of populated positions is selected from the actual load and reserve requirement; spare capacity is not inferred merely from an empty slot.
Ventilation, protective devices, and isolation procedures are planned for the whole assembly because removing one converter can change the capacity available to the connected safety system.
HIMA M3421 19-inch PS1000 power-supply subrack is supported by Apter Power for availability and quotation requests; product references can be supplied to compare the installed PS1000 arrangement.

M3421 power-module arrangement
- Three positions: Accepts a maximum of three PS1000 converter modules
- Guided insertion: Each supply occupies a defined mechanical location in the subrack
- Selective population: Only the positions needed by the capacity and reserve calculation are fitted
- Service boundary: One converter can be identified and isolated without replacing the empty carrier
M3421 capacity and redundancy
- Normal demand: Installed PS1000 capacity must cover the continuous downstream load
- Reserve case: The remaining supplies are checked against load after the planned single fault
- Wiring scheme: Redundancy depends on the actual input and output connections, not the shelf alone
- Protection: Fuses or other branch protection are coordinated with each installed converter
M3421 cabinet integration
- Rack width: Fits the 19-inch cabinet format used by the supported power assembly
- Airflow: Clearance is maintained around every populated supply position
- Cable access: Input and distribution wiring remain reachable for inspection and isolation
- Maintenance plan: Before module exchange, technicians confirm which loads remain energized
M3421 supply-unit variants
- 24 V outputs: The PS1000 range includes supply cassettes for 24 V DC control-system distribution.
- 48 V outputs: Additional PS1000 versions extend the carrier arrangement to 48 V DC applications.
- Input choices: The PS1000 family includes versions for 115 V AC and 230 V AC mains input.
- Common carrier: The PS1000 power-supply units are installed in the M3421 subrack.
