Features:
- The 3 m factory lead connects an external safety circuit to the servo drive's CN8 interface.
- Separate cores carry two STO inputs and two corresponding monitor outputs.
- Color and dot markings distinguish the six active signal conductors.
The connector set on
MR-D05UDL3M-B mates with CN8 and preserves the drive-side pin assignment defined for the STO circuit.
Pins 3 through 8 provide the two input paths, two feedback paths and their respective commons; pins 1 and 2 are not assigned in the connection diagram.
The nominal 5.7 mm cable diameter and fixed 3 m length are selection details for routing the complete factory lead without changing its termination.
The Mitsubishi MR-D05UDL3M-B 3 m CN8 Safe Torque Off Cable may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Drive-side safety connector
- Input common: STOCOM reaches the drive at CN8 pin 3.
- Safety inputs: STO1 and STO2 terminate at pins 4 and 5 as separate channels.
- Monitor outputs: TOF1 and TOF2 leave through pins 6 and 7.
- Output common: TOFCOM completes the feedback side on pin 8.
Tracing the terminated conductors
- STO1: the yellow core with a red dot carries the first safety input.
- STO2: the gray core with a black dot carries the second safety input.
- Feedback pair: gray/red and white/black identify TOF1 and TOF2.
- Commons: yellow/black and white/red separate the input and output returns.
Factory lead boundaries
- Fixed reach: the complete MR-D05UDL3M-B assembly is supplied as a 3 m cable.
- Outer diameter: routing space is based on the nominal 5.7 mm cable body.
- Terminated assembly: the CN8 connector set is part of the defined cable configuration.
- Unused positions: CN8 pins 1 and 2 are not populated by the six listed signal paths.
Command and feedback flow
- External source: the safety device sends the two independent STO commands toward CN8.
- Drive input: the paired inputs enter the servo electronics through STO1 and STO2.
- State feedback: TOF1 and TOF2 return the two input states to the receiving circuit.
- Separate returns: STOCOM and TOFCOM keep the command and monitoring commons distinct.
