Features:
- The FC-2 power stage regulates one three-phase motor output.
- Regenerative operation returns suitable deceleration energy toward the line.
- Safe Torque Off is integrated into the converter control path.
The documented output rating changes with ambient temperature and selected overload duty.
A Class A filter is built into the line-side arrangement.
The 155 mm module width defines the converter position in the ET 200pro assembly.
The Siemens 6SL3514-1KE13-5AE0 ET 200pro FC-2 Frequency Converter may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Following power from the supply to the motor
- Line entry: A three-phase 380 to 480 V AC source feeds the converter power stage.
- Variable output: The controlled three-phase output supplies the connected motor according to the configured motor data.
- Regeneration: Suitable deceleration energy is returned toward the incoming line through the regenerative topology.
- Filter position: The integrated Class A filter acts on conducted emissions at the converter input.
Relating output power to temperature and overload time
- Continuous rating: The documented motor power changes between the 45 °C and 55 °C operating points.
- Sixty-second load: A 150% overload is permitted for the specified 60-second interval.
- Short peak: The 200% value applies only to the documented three-second interval.
- Selection rule: Motor current, ambient temperature and duty cycle are evaluated together rather than as independent limits.
Separating torque control from electrical isolation
- STO command: Safe Torque Off suppresses torque-producing control in the converter.
- External isolation: STO does not replace the required procedure for isolating the incoming supply.
- Motor state: The mechanical system can still move from external forces after torque is removed.
- Commissioning: Safety wiring and parameter assignment must match the documented ET 200pro FC-2 arrangement.
Placing the converter in the ET 200pro assembly
- Mechanical position: The 155 mm housing occupies the documented converter width in the station.
- Control path: The selected ET 200pro interface carries commands, status and diagnostics between the controller and converter.
- Motor data: Commissioning parameters link the power stage to the connected motor characteristics.
- Fault reporting: Converter and safety conditions are exposed through the station diagnostic path.
