Features:
- ABB SDCS-CON-H01 3ADT220166R0002 combines the control board with the hinged DCS880/DCT880 electronic tray.
- Memory, option, panel and I/O connectors converge on the same control assembly.
- An internal watchdog resets firing control and freezes documented outputs after a trip.
The service procedure treats the control board and tray as one assembly, not as an unconfigured loose PCB.
Jumper positions and the stored type code preserve hardware identity when the assembly is exchanged.
Named headers separate memory, panel, safety, DCSLink, feedback and control wiring so each connection can be returned to its original position.
The ABB SDCS-CON-H01 3ADT220166R0002 DCS880/DCT880 Control Board and Electronic Tray Assembly may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Opening the control assembly without losing connections
- Front access: The control panel and design cover are removed before the hinged tray is opened.
- Option removal: Installed option modules are identified and disconnected from their slots.
- Cable release: Flat cables and I/O plugs are removed from their marked headers rather than pulled as one harness.
- Grounding path: Grounding screws are separated before the electronic tray is lifted from the power unit.
Retaining the drive identity during control-unit exchange
- X205 memory: The memory unit is disconnected from X205 before the old tray is removed.
- Jumper record: Positions J1 through J7 are copied from the existing control board.
- Type code: The value associated with parameter 95.16 is recorded before replacement.
- Reassembly: Memory, jumper and type-code information are returned to the replacement assembly before operation.
Assigning each external path to its control header
- Panel and memory: X13 serves the control panel while X205 carries the memory unit.
- Option paths: X12 and X200 are assigned to the documented safety and DCSLink options.
- Signal headers: XAI, XAO, XDI and XDIO separate analog and digital field paths.
- Control outputs: XENC, XSTO and XRO1–XRO3 connect feedback, safe-torque-off and relay circuits.
Control behavior after internal supervision trips
- Firing control: A watchdog trip resets and disables the firing-control path.
- Input processing: Digital and analog input values are no longer processed after the trip.
- Digital outputs: Their last documented states remain frozen during the watchdog condition.
- Analog outputs: The analog output values are likewise held rather than recalculated.
