The PSR60-600-70 Softstarter from ABB is designed for compact and efficient motor control, offering a rated operational current of 60 A and operating voltages from 208 V to 600 V AC. It simplifies motor start and stop with a two-phase voltage ramp, reducing mechanical stress and energy consumption.
Equipped with adjustable start/stop ramps via front potentiometers, the softstarter allows precise control over motor acceleration and deceleration. Built-in bypass ensures minimal power loss during full-speed operation, while relay outputs provide RUN and TOR signals for easy system monitoring.
The device supports optional Fieldbus communication via an external adaptor, enabling integration into automated systems. Its compact design makes it suitable for pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors, managing up to 100 starts per hour without compromise.PSR softstarters are often paired with ABB manual motor starters (MMS) using available mechanical connection kits, ensuring a seamless installation and reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
