Description
The ABB SDCS-REB-1C Interface Board is designed to manage firing commands for DCS drive thyristor bridges. When connected to SDCS-PIN-51, the board routes firing pulses so that one SDCS-PIN-41 provides pulses to the six forward bridge thyristors and another to the six reverse bridge thyristors. Forward and reverse pulse transformer boards are connected via X613 and X713 connectors respectively, ensuring optimal routing and minimal gate lead length.
The board is powered by 24 V DC (±10%) with a typical power consumption of 8 W and maximum of 12 W. It provides 1.5 kV AC isolation and ±8 kV ESD protection, ensuring reliable and safe operation in industrial environments.
Equipped with four RJ45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps, the SDCS-REB-1C delivers low latency (<50 µs per hop) and low jitter (<10 µs), making it ideal for precise thyristor control and timing-critical applications. It operates reliably in temperatures from −40 °C to +70 °C and can be stored from −50 °C to +85 °C, with 5–95 % relative humidity (non-condensing).
