Features:
- Carries a connector-protected 0.5 m 3300 XL 8 mm probe through a stainless-steel sleeve.
- Provides as much as 5.6 inches of probe penetration without a separate standoff adapter.
- Uses a 3/4-14 NPT machine thread and supplies one matching conduit-port plug.
Bently Nevada 21000-34-05-00-056-04-02 combines probe positioning and connector protection in one serviceable housing.
The longer sleeve reach distinguishes this configuration from shorter 21000 assemblies using the same machine thread.
Its code 04 conduit hardware leaves the external cable-entry fitting to the installation design.
The Bently Nevada 21000-34-05-00-056-04-02 Connector-Protected Probe Housing appears in current OEM configuration tables.

Protected Probe Joint and Service Access
- Guarded connection: Probe option 34 places a mechanical protector around the detachable probe connection.
- Cable transition: The probe lead enters the housing through the protected joint before continuing toward the conduit port.
- Service access: The protector can be reached without using the flexible cable to change probe penetration.
- Probe selection: The same probe option retains the documented hazardous-area approval selection position in the order code.
Positioning the Probe Without a Standoff
- Maximum travel: Code 056 permits as much as 5.6 inches of probe penetration.
- Rigid reference: The stainless-steel sleeve, rather than the cable, establishes the probe-tip location.
- Direct span: Code 00 omits a standoff adapter, so the sleeve reaches directly toward the machine interface.
- Locking sequence: Probe gap is set through sleeve position before the housing is secured at the required insertion depth.
One Supplied Plug, External Entry Hardware
- Included closure: Configuration 04 supplies one 3/4-14 NPT plug for the documented housing port.
- Separate fitting: The cable-entry fitting used by the installation is not included in this configuration.
- Cable route: The lead leaves the protected probe joint and enters the external conduit path through the selected hardware.
- No side load: The external fitting and conduit must not transfer twist or side force into the connector protector.
Thread, Temperature, and Pressure Checks
- Thread interface: The housing engages the machine through its 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread.
- Tip temperature: Probe-tip exposure must stay within the XL 8 mm temperature specification.
- Pressure curve: Housing pressure capability must be read against temperature rather than treated as one fixed value.
- Access clearance: Installation space must preserve access to the connector protector and sleeve adjustment after mounting.
