The probe lead plus extension cable must equal the 330850 Proximitor Sensor system length. This 4.0 m cable normally pairs with a 1.0 m 330851 probe for a 5.0 m loop.

• Probe match: use a compatible 1.0 m 330851 25 mm probe for a 5.0 m total loop
• Sensor match: connect to a 5 m 330850 25 mm Proximitor Sensor with the required mounting and approval options
• Length rule: 1.0 m probe lead plus 4.0 m extension cable equals the 5.0 m sensor calibration
• Cable impedance: 75 Ω triaxial FluidLoc construction
• DC resistance: 1.0 ±0.25 Ω core and 0.3 ±0.1 Ω jacket for the 4.0 m cable
• Capacitance: 69.9 pF/m (21.3 pF/ft) typical
• Connector family: miniature male and female coaxial connectors for the 3300 XL 25 mm system

Do not mix this cable with another probe diameter or an unmatched Proximitor system length. Provide all three part numbers for compatibility review.

• Primary use: differential-expansion monitoring on mid-size and large steam-turbine generators
• Measured condition: relative thermal growth between the turbine rotor and stationary casing
• System linear range: 12.7 mm (500 mils) when used in a correctly matched 3300 XL 25 mm system
• System scale factor: 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil) nominal
• Recommended target: flat AISI 4140 steel target at least 61 mm (2.4 in) in diameter
• Complementary input: two matched transducer loops may be used where the monitor supports complementary differential-expansion inputs
• High-temperature routing: armored FluidLoc construction supports protected cable runs in demanding turbine areas

Range and scale-factor values describe the complete matched transducer system, not the extension cable by itself.

• Temperature: -35°C to +200°C (-31°F to +392°F) for extension-cable operation and storage
• Humidity: 100% condensing, non-submersible when the connectors are correctly protected
• Bend radius: maintain at least 25.4 mm (1.0 in) with or without stainless-steel armor
• Routing: avoid crushing, sharp bends and tensile load at the male or female connector
• Connector protection: keep both connectors clean, dry and mechanically supported during installation

• System certification: confirm the probe, cable, Proximitor Sensor, barriers and installation drawing as one approved loop

Do not infer complete-system hazardous-area compliance from the cable suffix alone. Confirm the delivered nameplates and end-user jurisdiction before installation.
