The Bently Nevada 330104-00-07-10-01-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe maintains standardized connector and cable configuration for consistent signal transmission.
The Bently Nevada 330104-00-07-10-01-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe integrates a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with connector protector to maintain stable electrical connection. Its design includes a 70 mm overall case length and standard cable arrangement, supporting consistent installation structure. The Bently Nevada 330104-00-07-10-01-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe system operates with defined probe, extension cable1, and Proximitor Sensor2 configuration. It maintains output behavior proportional to the measured distance between probe tip and conductive surface. The Bently Nevada 330104-00-07-10-01-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe ensures consistent electrical characteristics under -24 Vdc operating conditions.
The Bently Nevada 330104-00-07-10-01-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is configured with an unthreaded length of 0 mm and total length of 1.0 meter (3.3 feet). It operates within a system structure composed of probe, extension cable1, and Proximitor Sensor2 as defined in the provided data. The Bently Nevada 330104-00-07-10-01-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe produces an output voltage proportional to distance for both static and dynamic measurement values. Electrical performance is referenced under a 10 kΩ test load condition. The Bently Nevada 330104-00-07-10-01-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe maintains consistent configuration across its connector, cable, and system components.
The 330104-00-07-10-01-CN Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- Mechanical Installation: The probe thread specification is M10 x 1. The total length of the housing for this model (07) is 70 mm. Ensure the probe tip is perpendicular to the surface of the measured axis during installation.
- Gapping: The standard linear range is 2.0 mm (80 mils). It is recommended to set the initial gap at the midpoint of the range, i.e., 1.27 mm (50 mils), at which point the corresponding output voltage is approximately -10 Vdc.
- Target Specifications: The standard calibration material is AISI 4140 steel. The target surface diameter should not be less than 13 mm (0.5 in), otherwise linearity will be affected.
- Cables and Connections: The total system length must be matched (1.0 meter for this model). Ensure the ClickLoc connector is tightened when connecting, and it is recommended to install a connector protective sleeve to prevent oil contamination.
- Minimum Spacing: If multiple probes are installed adjacent to each other, the center distance between probes should be maintained at more than 40 mm to avoid mutual inductance interference.
- Probe Operating Temperature: Standard operating temperature is -35 °C to +177 °C (-31 °F to +351 °F).
- Preamplifier Operating Temperature: Proximitor sensor operating temperature is -51 °C to +100 °C (-60 °F to +212 °F).
- Pressure Seal: A pressure seal is provided between the probe tip and the housing, capable of withstanding non-corrosive gas or liquid pressures up to 34.5 bar (500 psi).
- Humidity Effect: The probe and cable can operate at 100% condensing humidity, but the joints must be dried and sealed.
- Explosion-proof Certification: Models with the "CN" suffix comply with Chinese national explosion-proof standards and are suitable for intrinsically safe (Ex ia) or flameproof installations in specific hazardous areas.
- Radial Vibration Measurement: Monitoring journal vibration in fluid diaphragm bearing machinery (such as steam turbines and centrifugal compressors).
- Axial position monitoring: Used to measure changes in thrust bearing clearance, monitor rotor axial displacement, and prevent collisions between moving and stationary parts.
- Keyphasor reference: Provides a voltage pulse per revolution by monitoring keyways or protrusions on the shaft for phase analysis and speed calculation.
- Eccentricity measurement: Measures shaft bending (eccentricity) caused by thermal gradients during the startup phase of large turbine machinery.
- Mechanical protection system integration: Integrated as a sensing element into the 3500 or 3701 monitoring system for automatic alarm or shutdown protection.
