The Bently Nevada 330500-03-00 Velomitor is a piezoelectric vibration sensor designed to measure absolute vibrations on bearings, machine casings, and other structural components. Its embedded solid-state electronics ensure stable, reliable signal output without mechanical degradation, making it ideal for continuous monitoring in industrial environments.
The sensor provides a sensitivity of 3.94 mV/mm/s (100 mV/in/s) ±5% and supports a frequency response range from 4.5 Hz to 5 kHz ±3.0 dB, allowing it to capture both low-frequency and high-frequency vibrations accurately. Its peak velocity measurement of 1270 mm/s (50 in/s) ensures it can handle high-intensity vibration events.
Built for harsh environments, the 330500-03-00 operates in temperatures from -55°C to 121°C (-67°F to 250°F) and can withstand shock loads up to 5,000 g peak. The 316L stainless steel case and hermetically sealed 2-pin Mil-C-5015 connector provide excellent protection against moisture and contaminants, allowing use in high-humidity or dusty conditions.
Thanks to its compact design and versatile mounting options, it can be installed vertically, horizontally, or at any angle. The sensor’s low base strain sensitivity of 0.005 in/s/mstrain and magnetic field susceptibility <51 min/s/gauss ensure minimal interference and high-accuracy vibration monitoring, making it a trusted choice for industrial predictive maintenance applications.
