The Bently Nevada 990-05-70-02-01 Vibration Transmitter is engineered for industrial rotating equipment monitoring, ideal for compressors, pumps, fans, and motors. It converts input from a 3300 NSv proximity probe into peak-to-peak vibration amplitude in engineering units and provides a 4–20 mA output for control systems, enabling machinery protection, alarms, and logic functions.
This transmitter supports a 0–5 mils peak-to-peak (0–125 μm pp) range and a 7-meter system length, with a robust bulkhead screw mounting method. The Prox Out incremental scale factor is 7.87 mV/µm (200 mV/mil), with a typical ±6.5% error and worst-case ±10%, while the peak-to-peak noise is approximately 50 mV, ensuring accurate and reliable readings. Non-interacting zero and span potentiometers make loop adjustments simple without affecting other settings.
The unit operates on +12 to +35 VDC and is rated for temperatures between -35°C and +85°C, meeting CSA Division 2 certification standards for industrial safety and reliability. Its design ensures long-term, stable performance even in harsh environments.
With proven Bently Nevada technology, the 990-05-70-02-01 delivers continuous, precise vibration monitoring. It supports predictive maintenance, helps reduce equipment downtime, and improves operational safety and efficiency.
