        Honeywell 10001/A/1 forms the wiring section of the FSC 10001/1/1 and 10001/R/1 Vertical Bus Driver assemblies. Its 96-pin connector and retaining bolts secure the wiring section to the 19-inch Central Part rack.

        Honeywell 10001/A/1 provides hardware addressing through two jumper groups. Jumpers J1–J4 select the VBD number, while J5 and J6 select the Central Part number required by the installed FSC configuration.

        Honeywell 10001/A/1 contains the hardware jumpers used to identify the installed bus configuration. Jumpers J1 through J4 assign the Vertical Bus Driver number, while J5 and J6 assign the Central Part number.

        Honeywell 10001/A/1 allows the electronic section of the VBD assembly to be removed while the vertical-bus flat cable remains connected to the fixed wiring section. This arrangement simplifies cable management, but it does not authorize live replacement; Central Part power must be switched off first.
