Features:
- Six 10/100 Mbit/s electrical ITP ports
- Two 100 Mbit/s full-duplex fiber ports
- Integrated redundancy and network management functions
Siemens
6GK1105-2AA10 is the OSM ITP62 switch that combines electrical ITP connections with fiber-optic Industrial Ethernet links.
The electrical ports negotiate speed and duplex mode, while the optical ports operate at 100 Mbit/s in full duplex.
Address learning, redundancy control, port mirroring and event reporting are administered through WBM, CLI or SNMP.
The Siemens 6GK1105-2AA10 OSM ITP62 Optical Switch Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Electrical and Optical Links
- ITP ports: Six electrical connections operate at 10 or 100 Mbit/s.
- FOC ports: Two optical connections operate at 100 Mbit/s in full duplex.
- Autonegotiation: Electrical ports negotiate rate, duplex mode and full-duplex flow control with a compatible partner.
- Autocrossover: The order-number suffix ending in 10 identifies support for internal send/receive crossover.
Filtering Database
- Table capacity: The filtering database holds up to 7,000 MAC addresses.
- Learning: A received source address is associated with the port on which it arrives.
- Aging: Learned entries expire after the configured aging time, which defaults to forty seconds.
- Port locking: A locked port forwards frames only when the source address is already authorized in the table.
Configuration Access
- Web interface: Web-based management provides browser access to switch settings and status.
- Command line: The CLI exposes configuration and diagnostic commands through the management connection.
- SNMP: Standard and private MIB data support external network-management stations.
- Address assignment: BOOTP or DHCP can supply the IP address, subnet mask and gateway during startup.
Fault and Traffic Visibility
- Port mirroring: Bidirectional traffic from a selected port can be copied to a monitor port.
- Traps: Link, authentication, redundancy, error and power events can be sent to as many as ten stations.
- E-mail: Configured alarms can trigger an e-mail through an available SMTP server.
- Event log: A 200-entry ring buffer records reported events in chronological order.
