Features:
- Six analog current channels connect field transmitters to one or two fail-safe HART input modules.
- Redundant A and B feeds are diode-ORed and supervised by polarity LEDs and an isolated monitor contact.
- Each channel has protected transmitter power, shield handling, and a HART handheld connection.
Field current enters Siemens 6ES7650-1AH62-5XX0 at the channel terminals and is presented to both installed F-AI module paths.
The power network of 6ES7650-1AH62-5XX0 keeps A and B feed indication separate while combining valid inputs for the module and transmitter supplies.
Jumpers, shielding points, and module cables on 6ES7650-1AH62-5XX0 determine whether commons remain joined and how redundant input sharing is wired.
The Siemens 6ES7650-1AH62-5XX0 6-Channel F-AI HART Marshalled Termination Assembly may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

A/B Power Distribution and Monitoring
- Feed A: The first DC input passes through polarity indication and diode isolation.
- Feed B: The second DC input provides the parallel redundant supply path.
- Combined output: Valid feeds are diode-ORed for module and channel power distribution.
- Monitor contact: The isolated contact closes only when both feed voltages are present above the threshold.
Field Current and Transmitter Supply
- Loop input: Each channel accepts the field-current return from its connected transmitter.
- Channel supply: A short-circuit-protected 24 V output powers each two-wire transmitter.
- Current limit: The channel supply path is limited to 40 mA under a short circuit.
- Input sharing: Protection components let both redundant F-AI modules receive the same channel current.
Channel Communication and Shielding
- Handheld terminal: Every channel provides a connection point for a HART handheld terminal.
- Shield terminals: Field cable shields land on the designated shield connections.
- Ground stud: The board ground stud bonds the MTA shielding structure to earth.
- Common jumper: X300 controls separation of the channel-low return from the power-supply common.
F-AI Cables and Board Protection
- Module one: The first connector and fuse supply the F-AI module in position 1.
- Module two: The second connector and fuse supply the redundant or alternate module position.
- Cable selection: The specified 6ES7922 cable must match the installed module and MTA connection.
- Fuse indication: Individual indicators expose the condition of the two module supply fuses.
