Features:
- Ten Form C relay contacts provide separate normally open, common and normally closed field terminals.
- Two module connectors allow the assembly to accept a single or redundant F-DO10 arrangement.
- A/B power inputs are combined before module and channel fuses distribute supply.
Between ET 200M F-DO10 module connectors and removable field terminals, the 6ES7650-1AM31-6XX0 keeps the control-module and load-wiring sides distinct.
Each relay channel has its own fuse, while each module connection has a separate power fuse and indicator.
The mounting orientation affects the permissible temperature range; the vertical limit changes if only the upper five channels are used.
The Siemens 6ES7650-1AM31-6XX0 Failsafe Relay Output MTA may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

How one output reaches the field
- Relay path: Each F-DO10 output drives a relay coil through its channel fuse.
- Normally open: NO and COM close together when the associated relay energizes.
- Normally closed: NC and COM form the closed path while that relay is not energized.
- Field removal: The removable field connector separates load wiring from the MTA during wiring work.
A/B supply and fuse chain
- Input A: The L+A and MA connector brings one DC supply into the assembly.
- Input B: L+B and MB provide a second supply path for the redundant arrangement.
- Distribution: The two inputs are diode-combined before module and channel fuses feed their respective paths.
- LEDs: Separate input and module-fuse indicators show which portion of the path lacks power.
Single and redundant module connection
- Module 1: One F-DO10 module can connect to the first MTA connector.
- Module 2: A second connector accepts another module in the redundant arrangement.
- Single-module option: A non-redundant configuration uses either module connector.
- Cable boundary: The documented interconnecting cable carries ten output channels between ET 200M module and MTA.
Termination and mounting conditions
- Rail: The housing installs on a 35 mm deep top-hat DIN rail.
- Power connectors: A and B input terminals are removable and screw-retained.
- Shield ground: The shield stud connects the cable shield to earth ground.
- Thermal orientation: Horizontal and vertical mounting have different operating limits, with a separate vertical allowance for CH5–CH9 only.
