Features:
- Eight current-output channels terminate paired ET 200M module signals at removable field connectors.
- Dual power inputs and two fused module connectors support the documented redundant arrangement.
- Each channel provides shield terminals and a HART handheld access point.
Current outputs from the two module connectors are diode-ORed before reaching the assigned field loop.
Power LEDs distinguish the two incoming feeds, while module-fuse LEDs identify the powered I/O path.
Current-mode configuration and the load-resistance limit belong to the complete output loop.
The Siemens 6ES7650-1AB51-2XX0 Redundant Analog Output MTA may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Following two module signals to one field loop
- Module J1: The first analog output module connects through the J1 interface and its dedicated fuse.
- Module J2: The second module connects through J2 when redundant operation is required.
- Diode combining: Paired module outputs are diode-ORed before the current reaches CHx+.
- Single-module use: A non-redundant installation connects one module to either J1 or J2.
Distributing two incoming DC feeds
- Feed A: The L+A and MA connector supplies the A input and its presence LED.
- Feed B: The L+B and MB connector supplies the independent B input and indicator.
- Internal OR path: Diode ORing lets either valid feed energize the MTA and connected modules.
- Fuse separation: A separate 1 A fuse protects the power path to each module connector.
Organizing current-loop and shield conductors
- Current source: CHx+ carries the analog current toward the field load.
- Current return: CHx- completes the assigned loop back to the termination assembly.
- Shield point: SHx accepts the cable shield for each channel.
- Earth path: The ground stud and shield jumpers control the screen connection to earth.
Connecting a handheld terminal without changing channel identity
- Per-channel point: Each of the eight outputs has a dedicated HART access connection.
- Loop association: The handheld terminal remains tied to the selected current-output channel.
- Current mode: The connected analog module is configured for current-mode operation.
- Load boundary: Series diodes require the complete loop load to remain below 600 ohms.
