Features:
- Executes analog, sequential, batch and advanced control strategies in one rack processor.
- Provides 512 kB RAM and 256 kB nonvolatile memory for the controller database.
- Communicates with process I/O through the Expander Bus and peer controllers through Controlway.
The selected processor is the higher-memory member of the ABB multifunction-processor pair and occupies one standard INFI 90 OPEN rack slot. Its memory resources support larger control applications than the IMMFP11 variant.
The processor collects field information from connected rack I/O, executes the loaded control strategy and exchanges data with other Harmony controllers. Serial ports and the redundancy link extend its role to external devices and paired-controller arrangements.
A replacement must retain the validated configuration, node addressing and redundancy state of the installed controller. Confirm the rack power budget and each communication connection before downloading the application.
Availability is evaluated for the exact Harmony Rack processor and required system context.

- Runs continuous analog control loops for process units using Harmony rack I/O.
- Coordinates sequential and batch logic where local controller execution is required.
- Supports advanced control and user functions in established INFI 90 OPEN installations.
- The Expander Bus links the processor to local analog and digital I/O modules.
- Controlway provides communication with other Harmony rack controllers and bridge controllers.
- Two serial channels can be arranged as RS-232-C ports or as one RS-485 plus one RS-232-C port.
- Control strategies may use function codes, C, Basic, Batch 90, Ladder and user-defined functions.
- The controller database should be backed up and validated before a processor is exchanged.
- Redundant pairs require synchronized application data and verified mate-link status before process control resumes.
- The module occupies one slot in a standard INFI 90 OPEN mounting unit.
- Rack power must supply +5 V DC at up to 2 A while dissipating as much as 10 W.
- Serial termination and network node assignments must match the installed control-system design.
