Features:
- Analog channels: Three analog inputs and one analog output.
- Digital channels: Two programmable digital I/O points.
- Signal selection: Analog channels support voltage or current operation.
FIO-11 expands the analog and digital I/O available to supported ABB drives.
Channel signal selection, scaling and drive parameters should be recorded before startup.
The drive type, option slot and terminal-plug scope must be confirmed when ordering.
Availability is subject to Apter Power's current inventory and sourcing confirmation.

FIO-11 signal configuration review
- Input mode: Select current or voltage operation with the slide switches before commissioning FIO-11.
- Module activation: Enable communication between FIO-11 and the drive through the applicable drive parameter.
- Digital channel role: Configure each FIO-11 digital channel as an input or an approved output type.
- Project records: Preserve FIO-11 signal assignments, scaling and drive parameters before replacement.
FIO-11 installation review
- Power isolation: Switch off the drive supply, wait five minutes and isolate external control-circuit voltages before installing FIO-11.
- Option slot: Insert FIO-11 into a supported drive option slot and confirm that the retaining clips lock.
- Grounding screw: Tighten the FIO-11 fixing screw to 0.5 N·m because it supports grounding, EMC performance and module operation.
- Signal wiring: Use conductors up to 2.5 mm², follow the drive shielding instructions and keep signal cables separate from power cables.
FIO-11 fault tracing
- Green status: A green STATUS LED indicates normal FIO-11 operation.
- Orange status: An orange indication identifies an uninitialized FIO-11 or a communication fault with the control unit.
- Red status: A red indication can identify a power fault, initialization problem or control-unit communication fault.
- Diagnostic order: Check drive parameters, module seating, grounding, connector engagement and field wiring before replacing FIO-11.
