Description
The ABB RMIO-02C Motor Control & I/O Board is a core component engineered for ABB ACS800 series AC drives (Frame S2-S6), serving as the central hub for motor control logic, I/O signal processing, and system communication.   It combines precise signal measurement with robust electrical protection, featuring an isolation test voltage of 4kVAC (1 minute) between power and control circuits, and 500VAC (1 minute) for signal isolation, ensuring safety in industrial environments.

Equipped with 8 digital inputs (DI1-DI5: 10mA; DI6: 5mA) and 4 digital outputs (8A at 24VDC/250VAC), the board supports flexible I/O integration with logical thresholds of <8VDC ("0") and >12VDC ("1") and a 1ms filtering time constant.   Analog inputs offer tailored resolution: 0.025% (12-bit) for -10V~+10V, and 0.5% (11-bit) for 0~10V/0~20mA, with ±0.5% FSR inaccuracy at 25°C and a maximum temperature coefficient of ±100ppm/°C.   It operates on 24VDC ±10% power, with a typical current consumption of 250mA (without optional modules) and 1200mA max (with modules), plus compatibility with 1kΩ~10kΩ potentiometers and a 10mA maximum input load
