Features:
- Six Independent Temperature Monitoring Channels for Continuous Equipment Protection
- Compatible with Multiple Thermocouple Types Including J, K, T, and E
- High Measurement Accuracy with Reliable Industrial Environmental Tolerance
The Bently Nevada 3300/30 Six-Channel Temperature Monitor is designed to provide reliable multi-point temperature monitoring for industrial machinery protection systems. It supports up to six thermocouple inputs, enabling operators to monitor several temperature measurement points simultaneously. This capability helps detect abnormal thermal conditions early and supports proactive maintenance in critical equipment.
The Bently Nevada 3300/30 Six-Channel Temperature Monitor is compatible with grounded or non-grounded thermocouples and allows users to configure different sensor types based on application requirements. Supported thermocouple types include Type J and Type K with measurement ranges up to 500°C (1000°F), as well as Type T and Type E with ranges up to 250°C (500°F). This flexibility makes the module suitable for monitoring turbines, compressors, motors, and other rotating machinery where precise temperature tracking is essential.
Engineered for stable operation in industrial environments, the Bently Nevada 3300/30 Six-Channel Temperature Monitor provides high display accuracy of ±1°C (±1.8°F) when the tenths digit is displayed and ±1.5°C (±2.7°F) when it is not displayed, specified at +25°C (+77°F) ambient temperature. The monitor operates within 0°C to +65°C and supports storage conditions from -40°C to +85°C, while tolerating up to 95% non-condensing humidity, ensuring dependable performance in demanding plant conditions.
The 3300/30 Bently Nevada Six-Channel Temperature Monitor may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- Sensor Support: Supports multiple industry standard thermocouples, including Type J, K, E, and T. Each module is factory-selected based on the chosen type, but can be converted via internal hardware changes.
- Rack Compatibility: Fully compatible with the 3300 monitoring system rack. It can be installed in the same rack as other 3300 series monitors such as vibration, displacement, and differential expansion monitors, sharing power and system monitoring modules.
- Backward Compatibility: Although the 3300 system has been gradually replaced by the 3500 system, the 3300/30 can still be used as a spare for older systems or interoperate with modern System 1 software via a communication interface.
- Hardware Jumper Configuration: Most settings are configured via internal jumpers on the side of the module, including: Alarm Logic: Locking or Non-latching. Alarm Delay: Sets the delay time before alarm triggering. Cold Junction Compensation: Includes cold junction compensation logic configuration essential for thermocouple measurements.
- Polypotentiometer Calibration: The module's front panel features potentiometers for zero and span fine-tuning, enabling on-site calibration with a high-precision millivolt signal generator.
- Span Definition: Jumpers allow selection of Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) display and their corresponding measurement ranges.
- Thermocouple Connection: Supports standard thermocouple leads connected to the terminal block at the rear of the rack. The module incorporates cold junction compensation circuitry to ensure accurate measurements despite temperature variations at the connection points.
- Logger Output: Each channel provides an independent analog output signal (typically 4-20 mA or 1-5 Vdc) for real-time temperature data transmission to a DCS, PLC, or historical data logger.
- Serial Data Interface (SDI): Digital readings and alarm status of the modules can be uploaded to a host computer monitoring system via the rack-mounted 3300/03 system monitor through RS-232 or RS-422 interfaces.
- Buffered Signal Interface: The front panel provides buffered voltage output for each channel, allowing technicians to directly read the raw millivolt signals of the thermocouples using a multimeter or diagnostic equipment without shutting down the system.
