Features:
- Proximity Detection Between Metallic Target Surfaces and the 3300 Proximitor Sensor System
- Integrates Enhanced Chemical Resistance with Patented TipLoc and CableLoc Mechanical Design
- Interchangeable with Previous 3300 RAM and 3000-Series 190 Probe and Extension Cable Systems
Mechanical and electrical interchangeability with the 3300 RAM probe is standard with the 330905-00-25-05-12-CN, however using an optional connector protector configuration will prevent most liquids from entering into the ClickLoc connectors and adversely affecting the electrical signal in harsh process environments. The 330905-00-25-05-12-CN has made improvements in several areas over previous 3300 RAM and 3000-series 190 probe designs in addition to incorporating increased chemical resistance capability within the 3300 NSv transducer system.
All components of the 330905-00-25-05-12-CN transducer system feature gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors that lock into place and prevent loosening, with the patented TipLoc molding method providing a robust bond between the probe tip and body, and the patented CableLoc design delivering 220 N (50 lb) of pull strength to securely attach the probe cable. One 330905-00-25-05-12-CN probe is required per measurement point, working in conjunction with a compatible extension cable and Proximitor Sensor to form a complete transducer system.
For dual-path monitoring applications, the 3300 system requires a second 330905-00-25-05-12-CN proximity probe installed at the same measurement plane. In addition to standard single-probe operation, the redundant configuration also performs continuous measurement validation. The 3300 dual-probe configuration executes monitoring using the internal circuitry specified in the Proximitor Sensor options. Using this method, the redundant sensing system continually monitors the health of both 330905-00-25-05-12-CN probes.
The 330905-00-25-05-12-CN Bently Nevada 3300 NSv Proximity Probe may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- Constrained Geometry Applications: Optimized for installation in machines with restricted side-view clearances, shallow counterbores, or narrow mounting brackets.
- Small Shaft Diameters: Designed to measure radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2.0 inches).
- Small Target Faces: Designed to measure axial position on flat target surfaces smaller than 15 mm (0.6 inches).
- Critical Machinery Monitoring: Frequently deployed on fluid-filmed bearing machines, small centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, and process gas pumps.
- Signal Variables: Utilized for continuous tracking of dynamic shaft vibration, static thrust position, tachometer speed measurements, and Keyphasor phase reference inputs.
- Probe Tip & Cable Operating Range: -34°C to +177°C (-30°F to +351°F).
- Storage Temperature Range: -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +351°F).
- Pressure Seal Threshold: Sustained exposure to temperatures below -34°C (-30°F) may degrade the probe's internal differential pressure seal.
- Relative Humidity: 100% condensing, non-submerged.
- Moisture Protection: The integrated FluidLoc cable design (specified by the -12 option code) prevents oil, water, or process gases from leaking or wicking through the internal core of the cable into connected enclosures.
- Linear Measurement Range: 1.5 mm (60 mils), beginning at a nominal offset of 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the target surface.
- Scale Factor Sensitivity: 7.87 mV/µm (200 mV/mil) average scale factor (ASF) when calibrated against AISI 4140 steel targets.
- Target Operating Gap: Calibrated for peak linearity when operating between a gap voltage window of -8 VDC to -12 VDC.
- Side-View Efficiency: Features a condensed magnetic eddy-current field that allows the probe to ignore surrounding cross-talk or nearby sidewall interference from mounting holes.
- TipLoc Structural Strength: Utilizes a specialized molding process that chemically bonds the polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip directly to the stainless steel body casing.
- CableLoc Pull Strength: Mechanical construction provides up to 220 N (50 lb) of pull strength at the cable-to-probe junction point.
- ClickLoc Connector Interface: Features gold-plated brass connections with a positive locking mechanism that prevents terminal disconnects caused by structural machine vibration.
