Features:
- Dedicated signal link between the 330400/330425 Accelerometer and monitoring system termination
- Integrates 3-conductor shielded 22 AWG construction with 3-socket plug and terminal lug connectivity
- Supports vibration monitoring applications across industrial rotating machinery installations
The Bently Nevada 16925-70 operates as the dedicated interconnecting cable for the 330400 and 330425 Accelerometer Acceleration Transducer, providing reliable signal transmission between the accelerometer and the monitoring system interface. It continuously maintains shielded signal integrity across lengths from 2.0 ft (0.6 m) to 99 ft (30 m) and routes the 3-conductor signal path through the 3-socket plug and terminal lugs to support steady-state operation of vibration measurement channels. Seamless signal transmission is standard with the 16925-70, however using proper shield grounding practices at the monitoring system end will allow optimal noise suppression in the event of electromagnetic interference.
The 16925-70 provides essential signal path functions common to the entire vibration monitoring channel, and is a critical component of the measurement path, directly affecting the proper, normal operation of the overall accelerometer-based monitoring system. One 16925-70 cable is required per accelerometer installation depending on the distance between the transducer and the termination interface. The 16925-70 occupies minimal routing space in the installation environment and is always positioned between the accelerometer socket and the system terminal block or junction box.
For multi-channel vibration monitoring applications, the monitoring system requires an additional 16925-70 cable installed for each accelerometer channel. In addition to standard single-channel operation, the multi-point configuration also performs parallel signal routing. The 16925-70 multi-channel setup executes reliable transmission using the shielded 3-conductor construction specified in the cable design.
The 16925-70 Bently Nevada 3-core shielded cable may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
