Features:
- Provides Accurate Temperature Monitoring For Industrial Applications
- Includes 4–20 mA Recorder Outputs For Each Channel
- Supports Flexible Sensor Configuration With Internal Terminations
The Bently Nevada 133819-02 is a 3500/61 RTD/TC non-isolated I/O module designed for precise and reliable temperature monitoring. Serving as an internal termination module, it accepts signals from RTD and Thermocouple sensors, providing six independent temperature channels for real-time monitoring. Compared to the 3500/60 module, 133819-02 offers integrated 4–20 mA recorder outputs, allowing continuous data recording and seamless integration with external monitoring systems.
Each channel of the 133819-02 can be individually configured to measure either RTD, TC, or a combination, offering flexibility for mixed sensor installations. The module operates with an input impedance of 10 MΩ per lead and nominal power consumption of 9 Watts, ensuring accurate measurements while maintaining efficient energy use. It occupies one full-height rear slot in the 3500 rack, allowing straightforward installation alongside other 3500/60 or 3500/61 modules.
Designed for industrial environments, the 133819-02 functions reliably across operating temperatures of -30°C to +65°C (-22°F to +150°F) and storage conditions of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F). In Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) configurations, three adjacent 133819-02 modules work together with dual voting mechanisms to ensure continuous operation and eliminate single-point failures. The internal terminations simplify sensor integration while maintaining high signal fidelity, making 133819-02 ideal for applications requiring both high data accuracy and recorder output capability.
The 133819-02 Bently Nevada 3500/61 RTD/TC Non-Isolated I/O Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Bently Nevada 133819-02 3500/61 RTD/TC Non-Isolated I/O Module Specs
General
- Manufacturer Bently Nevada
- Model 133819-02
- Condition New Original ready stock
- Product Family 3500/61,136712-01,136711-02
Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
- Direct Wiring: Unlike 133827-01, 133819-02 does not require external terminal blocks. Field sensor cables connect directly to the screw terminal blocks on the back of the module.
- Space Saving: Eliminating the need for external terminal blocks and intermediate cables makes it ideal for environments with limited rack space.
- Compatibility Note: Must be used with the 3500/61 front panel monitor motherboard. Upgrading from 3500/60 to 3500/61 requires replacing the I/O modules, the front panel motherboard, and reconfiguring the software.
- Hot-Swapping: Supports insertion while the rack is powered on, but activation requires software configuration download.
- Sensor Failure Diagnosis: RTD Failure: Automatically detects open or short circuits in leads. Thermocouple Failure: Detects burnt-out thermocouples.
- Recorder Output Monitoring: The module continuously monitors the 4-20mA output loop. If the loop is open (e.g., the recorder connection is lost), the monitor will report an error via a software status bit.
- Cold Junction Compensation (CJC): The module integrates a precision thermistor for automatic cold junction compensation of thermocouple inputs, ensuring accurate measurements even with fluctuating ambient temperatures.
- OK Relay Drive: When an internal hardware failure, power supply anomaly, or a sensor signal severely exceeding its range is detected, the module will trigger a "Not OK" state to prevent false alarms.
- Distributed Monitoring (DCS/PLC Integration): The most typical application is transmitting temperature signals in real-time via 4-20mA to a DCS (Distributed Control System) or PLC for process recording and trend analysis, while the 3500 system itself handles high-speed trip protection.
- Standalone Recorder Connection: Directly drives field paper or digital recorders without the need for additional signal transmitters.
- Non-isolated environment applications: Suitable for conventional industrial equipment with the same sensor ground potential (such as ordinary motor stators and small pump bearings). Note: If strong electromagnetic interference or potential differences exist in the field, it is recommended to use an isolated I/O module.
- Critical rotating machinery temperature monitoring: Such as gas turbine exhaust temperature, turbine compressor bearing temperature, and other applications requiring dual (monitoring + recording) functions.
