Allow a typical HART scan interval of 600 to 800 ms for each enabled channel.
Measure the documented 2 to 22 mA full signal range with over-range checking.
Apply the 0.2% of span accuracy and 0.05% repeatability specifications.
Use the 16-bit A/D conversion and 2.7 Hz roll-off characteristics in the signal design.
Set the terminal-block key to A2 for the 16-channel HART analog input card.
Use the AI 16-Channel Terminal Block supplied in the SE4003S2B6 ordering configuration.
Keep field wiring on the terminal block when the removable I/O card is serviced.
Description
SE4003S2B6 is the Emerson DeltaV S-series 16-channel 4-20 mA HART analog input assembly supplied with the AI 16-Channel Terminal Block.
The input card accepts two-wire 4-20 mA signals across a 2 to 22 mA full signal range. It provides HART pass-through for AMS Device Manager together with HART variable and status reporting for DeltaV control functions.
Install the assembly in an S-series traditional I/O horizontal carrier and preserve the A2 card-to-terminal-block keying. Verify field power, loop wiring, channel assignment, and controller compatibility before commissioning.
