Features:
- Sixteen AC input circuits are optically isolated from one another.
- A separate neutral for every point supports independent source references.
- Indicators show circuit state and assist with starting-address confirmation.
Point-by-point isolation suits installations where field signals originate from different panels, transformers or AC phases and cannot share a group neutral.
The removable terminal block retains the dense set of input and neutral pairs during electronics replacement, provided every pair is labeled before removal.
At commissioning, each signal can be checked as its own loop from source through terminal and indicator to the assigned PLC point.

Using Individually Isolated AC Inputs
- Loop identity: Keep each signal terminal paired with its own neutral from drawing to field label.
- Phase separation: Confirm source relationships before grouping conductors in a common cable or enclosure.
- Test reference: Never borrow a neighboring neutral when measuring an isolated point.
- Fault boundary: Investigate the selected loop first when the other fifteen inputs operate normally.
Managing Multiple 115/230 VAC Sources
- Voltage range: Verify each source stays between 80 and 265 VAC at 48–63 Hz.
- Phase record: Mark the phase or transformer feeding every point before terminal removal.
- Isolation procedure: De-energize and prove each source separately because one disconnect may not remove all voltage.
- Re-energization: Restore one loop at a time to expose crossed neutrals or unexpected backfeed paths.
Interpreting Point and Address Indication
- Point state: Use the individual LED to confirm that the input electronics detect the applied AC signal.
- Address mode: Request the starting I/O address when rack mapping is uncertain.
- Disagreement: A correct LED with an incorrect PLC state points toward address or program assignment.
- No indication: Check the source, paired neutral and threshold voltage before replacing the module.
Exchanging an Isolated Input Module
- Before shutdown: Record slot, address, terminal keying and all source identities.
- During isolation: Verify absence of voltage on every input/neutral pair, not only the first source.
- After installation: Prove the sixteen loops separately and compare each result with the I/O table.
- Final release: Resolve every label, phase and state mismatch before returning the process to service.
