Features:
- Converts the TCPD 125 V DC feed into supply rails used inside a Mark V LM core.
- Feeds processor, milliamp, RTD, servo-output, digital I/O, and ARCNET-related circuits.
- Requires no hardware-jumper or software configuration.
DS200TCPSG1A is installed in the <R> core and in each of the four I/O cores. Its purpose is local power conversion and distribution rather than turbine-signal conditioning.
J1 accepts 125 V DC from TCPD. The 2PL path distributes converted supplies to boards in the core, while JP1 or JP2 serves TCDA and AAHA destinations.
JC provides diagnostic-voltage paths to TCQC or TCCA, and X1 connects to the CCOM bus.
After manufacturer End-of-Life (EOL), the General Electric DS200TCPSG1A Power Supply Board may still be sourced with supporting documentation through Apter Power.

Input and downstream paths
- Input boundary: J1 is the 125 V DC input from the TCPD module in the <PD> core. Before investigating a low output rail, the supply at J1 should be distinguished from the converted voltages leaving the TCPS board.
- Converted-supply paths: 2PL carries power-supply voltages to multiple boards in daisy-chain form. JP1 and JP2 are alternate connections for TCDA boards in Q11, Q21, and Q51 and for AAHA boards in the R core.
- Localized symptom: A fault pattern limited to one destination can therefore point to its connector path rather than the entire DS200TCPSG1A conversion stage.
Where supply diagnostics are observed
- JC routing: JC routes DS200TCPSG1A diagnostic voltages to TCQC in the R1, R2, and R3 cores. In the R5 core, the equivalent diagnostic destination is TCCA.
- Core-specific monitor: This connector assignment matters when a voltage alarm is present: the monitoring board changes with the core, even though the local TCPS function is the same.
- CCOM connection: X1 belongs to the CCOM connection and should be checked separately from the J1, 2PL, JC, and JP power paths.
Reading the failure pattern
- Whole-core loss: If every board powered by one TCPS loses supply, start with the 125 V DC input at J1 and the protected conversion paths. If only a subset is affected, follow 2PL, JP1, or JP2 to that load group.
- Downstream load: A low rail that remains after board replacement can be caused by a shorted or overloaded downstream circuit. Disconnecting only the affected load group helps separate the supply from the load.
- Configuration limit: Because TCPS has no jumper or software settings, an unresolved output problem is not corrected by transferring configuration data.
Loads supported by TCPS
- Generated supplies: The Mark V LM architecture uses TCPS-derived voltages for microprocessor circuitry and for supplies associated with milliamp outputs, RTDs, and servo-valve current outputs.
- Core destinations: In the digital cores, JP1 or JP2 extends the supply path to TCDA. In the R core, the same connector choice supports AAHA boards.
- Installed load mix: The installed core position and connector set define the actual load mix for a DS200TCPSG1A board.
