Features:
- High-Density 16-Channel RTD Conditioning
- Factory-Applied Conformal Coating (CCC Revision)
- Direct Interface with VRTD Processors
The IS200TRTDH1CCC supports up to 16 independent three-wire RTD inputs on a single board. This high channel density reduces the number of required terminal blocks in a 21-slot rack, saving critical backplane space for additional protection or servo I/O modules.
Unlike base revisions (H1A/H1B), the "CCC" suffix indicates a robust conformal coating applied to the PCB assembly. This layer protects sensitive copper traces and solder joints from airborne contaminants, moisture, and corrosive gases (e.g., H₂S) common in paper mills or chemical plants, significantly extending mean time between failures (MTBF).
The board uses three 37-pin D-sub connectors to create a dedicated analog highway directly to the VRTD VME card. This architecture offloads all analog filtering and lead resistance compensation from the main CPU, allowing the Mark VI controller to focus on turbine governing logic while the I/O subsystem handles raw sensor data.
The IS200TRTDH1CCC General Electric Input Terminal Board may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- Temperature Range (Operational): -30°C to +65°C (-22°F to +149°F). Cold start capable down to -30°C without heater blankets.
- Temperature Range (Storage): -40°C to +85°C (with desiccant bag recommended to prevent coating sweat).
- Humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing (CCC revision prevents dendritic growth on pins under high humidity).
- Pollution Degree: Designed for Pollution Degree 2 (non-conductive pollution, typically dry plant interiors). Not rated for conductive dust (e.g., coal dust) without external IP54 enclosure.
- Mark VI/VIe Compliance: Factory tested per GE specification GEI-100473 for direct integration into Speedtronic racks.
- Hazardous Location Rating: Suitable for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D (Non-incendive for gas turbines).
- Environmental Protection: Conformal coating qualified per MIL-I-46058C (silicone-based, humidity resistance for CCC revision).
- EMC Immunity: Verified to IEC 61000-6-2 (Industrial heavy-duty electromagnetic environment) for 3.2kHz LVDT interference rejection.
- Steam Turbine Bearing Temperature Monitoring: Provides redundant 3-wire RTD inputs for journal and thrust bearings, complying with API 670 vibration/temperature monitoring standards.
- Gas Turbine Exhaust Temperature Spread (SPLIT): Installed in combined cycle plants to detect flame instability by monitoring 16 individual thermocouple inputs (converted via external transmitters to RTD signals).
- Generator Stator RTD Monitoring: Monitors copper temperature in high-voltage stators, protecting insulation breakdown under full load (0-4.054V range optimized for low-resistance outputs).
- Hydroelectric Thrust Bearing Protection: Used in remote dam sites where the conformal coating ("CCC") protects against the humid, non-condensing environments typical of underground power houses.
