Description
The 10105/2/1 analog input module features 16 analog inputs (0-4 V) and one external voltage readback input (0-4 V). These 16 channels are fail-safe (safety class AK5), and all 16 channels share a single isolated analog 0 V output.
The analog inputs of the 10105/2/1 module require conversion of field signals from 0-20 mA to levels usable by the 10105/2/1 module. This conversion can be achieved in two ways:
• Using the FTA-T-14 field termination module, or
• Using the 10105/A/1 analog input conversion module, located on the programming connector (Px) on the back of the 19-inch rack I/O backplane.
Analog input signals (such as thermocouples, PT-100, etc.) can only be used after being converted to 0(4)-20 mA using a dedicated converter (and FTA-T-14 or 10105/A/1 module).
