Features:
- Official ordering identity FS-CPCHAS-0001 V1.1
- 4HE chassis measuring 482.6 mm wide by 280 mm deep
- Documented assembly weight of 5.8 kg
The FS-CPCHAS-0001 V1.1 designation identifies the Safety Manager controller chassis version covered by Honeywell hardware documentation. It is the controller-housing order code, not an I/O chassis or backplane part number.
The chassis carries CE, UL, CSA, TUV, and FM approvals. These approvals belong to the documented FS-CPCHAS-0001 assembly and should not be transferred to adjacent Safety Manager ordering codes.
Honeywell withdrew FS-CPCHAS-0001 from sale on November 1, 2020 and identified FS-CPCHAS-0003 as the successor chassis. The complete installed code and version should be retained when reviewing an existing cabinet.
Honeywell FS-CPCHAS-0001 Safety Manager Controller Chassis is listed as Discontinued / Obsolete by OEM. Apter Power provides quotation assistance and access to official manufacturer documentation.

Front and rear construction
- Open front: Controller modules enter the chassis through front-facing guide channels.
- Covered rear: A rear enclosure protects the controller backplane area from routine access.
- Magnetic closure: The back cover uses magnetic retention for controlled removal during service.
- Module locks: Quarter-turn fasteners hold inserted modules securely in their operating positions.
V1.1 feeder loading
- 5V-1 demand: Version V1.1 draws 0.05 A from the first 5 V feeder.
- 5V-2 demand: The second 5 V feeder also carries a documented 0.05 A chassis load.
- Dual paths: Separate feeder values support cabinet power-budget calculations for the two controller supply paths.
- Version check: Use the V1.1 suffix when applying these low chassis-consumption figures.
Rear cable bar assignments
- Upper bar: Route 24 V power and 24 V signal wiring along the top cable support.
- Center bar: Keep controller communication cables on the middle horizontal support.
- Lower bar: Place 5 V and watchdog conductors on the bottom cable support.
Controller assembly relationships
- Single path: The chassis can carry a non-redundant Safety Manager controller arrangement.
- Redundant path: A redundant build duplicates the applicable controller modules across two processing sides.
- Shared module: The Battery and Key switch module remains common to both sides of a redundant controller.
- Cabinet position: The controller chassis is normally positioned above the associated I/O chassis.
