        The T8451 order code selects the 40-channel Trusted digital output module for 24 Vdc field circuits. Its five-group layout separates sets of eight outputs and provides defined limits for group loading at the specified ambient temperatures.

        Three switch paths drive every output and the field termination circuitry applies the voted result to the load. The module reports measured current, voltage, commanded state, and wiring condition to the Trusted processor for safety-related output control.

        Before commissioning, check the T8100 or T8300 slot, field-supply segregation, load current and capacitance, cable or FTA arrangement, and cooling. Intrinsically safe applications require approved external barrier devices because the module is not a direct IS field interface.
