Features:
- Uses the A20 component reference and IVI board designation.
- Mounts on the rear side of the converter electronics box.
- Groups five named internal connectors at one interface position.
6SE7038-6GL84-1BG0 has a fixed place between the electronics-box assembly and the internal inverter hardware.
The board number is shared across several chassis voltage groups, while each group retains its own host-order pattern.
A correct match therefore combines the complete spare code, A20 identity and the converter family printed on the installed unit.
The Siemens 6SE7038-6GL84-1BG0 IVI Inverter Interface Board may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

IVI identification path
- Component position: A20 is the hardware reference used for the inverter interface.
- Board marking: IVI names the board installed at that A20 position.
- Order suffix: 6GL84-1BG0 distinguishes the complete spare configuration.
- Combined check: A20, IVI and the full order number must describe the same installed board.
Connections at the electronics box
- Upper group: X205, X206 and X208 terminate at the IVI interface position.
- Additional leads: X31 and X33 complete the documented connector set.
- Access effect: These five connections are separated before the electronics box is moved clear.
- Reconnection check: Each lead returns to its named socket on the A20 board.
Chassis-family order patterns
- 510–620 V DC group: The host patterns use TG or TH in the converter code.
- 675–780 V DC group: The mapped entries are 6SE7031-3UG__ and 6SE7031-3UH__.
- 890–930 V DC group: WF, WG and WH patterns identify the higher-voltage family.
- Selection rule: The complete host pattern and its DC class stay together during board matching.
Board-removal relationship
- Starting point: The IVI is reached from the rear of the electronics box.
- Lead release: X205, X206, X208, X31 and X33 are disconnected from the board.
- Box movement: Electronics-box fasteners are released before the box is drawn forward.
- Final release: Only then is the A20 IVI board unbolted from its installed position.
