Features:
- Sixteen 24 V inputs: The channels accept current-sinking field signals.
- Two isolated groups: Each eight-channel group has its own voltage supervision.
- Input indication: Front LEDs show module and channel status.
This configuration is the standard two-group 24 V DC digital input variant, not the redundant SOE-capable DI840.
It converts field contact states and reports both channel condition and supervised process-power status through the S800 system.
Map the two field-power groups, supervision inputs, filter settings, terminal unit, and channel schedule before replacement.
Availability is subject to Apter Power inventory and sourcing confirmation.

Two-group field wiring
- Group separation: Keep each set of eight channels on its approved field supply.
- Polarity: Confirm current-sinking signal polarity before energizing.
- Common conductors: Do not combine returns outside the approved drawing.
- Channel map: Transfer every field tag to the same channel position.
Process-power monitoring
- Supervision input: Wire one monitored field supply for each group.
- Alarm path: Confirm loss of voltage reports through the ModuleBus.
- Supply test: Test each supervision group separately.
- Fault isolation: Separate field-power loss from an individual input fault.
Input fault checks
- No input: Check field power, contact state, polarity, and terminal continuity.
- Group alarm: Inspect the corresponding supervision input and supply.
- Intermittent state: Review filter selection, contact bounce, shielding, and grounding.
- Module warning: Read controller diagnostics before replacing hardware.
