Features:
- Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ32T places 32 terminated 24 V DC inputs in one Compact I/O slot.
- Four isolated banks allow sink or source field orientation at group level.
- Separate OFF-to-ON and ON-to-OFF filter selections shape input response timing.
A keyed 40-pin connector brings all field conductors to the module without using a conventional removable terminal block.
Each bank has its own common and remains isolated from the Compact bus and from the other three banks.
The chosen transition filters apply to the complete module and operate in addition to the hardware response time.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ32T 32-Point 24 V DC Terminated Digital Input Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Tracing thirty-two points across four commons
- Bank one: Inputs 0–7 reference the first DC common.
- Bank two: Inputs 8–15 remain electrically separate from the first bank.
- Bank three: Inputs 16–23 use the third field reference.
- Bank four: Inputs 24–31 complete the final isolated group.
Relating software selection to the observed transition
- Rising transition: The OFF-to-ON filter is selected independently from the falling transition.
- Falling transition: The ON-to-OFF filter can use a different documented value.
- Module scope: Each direction's selected value applies across all thirty-two points.
- Total response: Hardware delay and digital filtering both contribute before the input image changes.
Matching the terminated field interface
- Header: A keyed male interface on the module receives the field connector.
- Mating part: The 1746-N3 female connector provides forty terminal positions.
- Prewired option: Documented 1492 cables and interface modules can route the same point groups.
- Bank references: Connector pin assignment preserves the four independent DC commons.
Where electrical separation is applied
- Group to bus: Each eight-point bank is isolated from the Compact I/O backplane.
- Group to group: The four banks are isolated from one another.
- Inside a bank: Eight points share the same common and are not individually isolated.
- Working level: The field grouping is limited by the documented 75 V DC working isolation voltage.
