- Accepts six isolated RTD or resistance measurement channels
- Supports multiple RTD curves and two-, three-, or four-wire circuits
- Provides filtering, alarms, linearization, and open-wire diagnostics in floating-point mode
1756-IR6I is configured around the sensor, not just the signal range. The correct material coefficient and nominal resistance determine the temperature conversion performed in the module.
Integer and floating-point modes have different behavior. Selecting integer format removes temperature conversion, so a replacement project should be checked before process values are accepted.
Before reconnecting field sensors, verify the RTD curve, nominal resistance, wire count, range, excitation, filter, lead compensation, RTB wiring, and stored Logix channel profile.
Availability, condition, price, and shipping time for 1756-IR6I are confirmed during quotation.
