Overview Manuals Specifications Application Operating Environment Monitoring and Control Functions

Features:

  • Trip Multiply function (2X or 3X) prevents false alarms during startups, coast-downs, and resonant speed crossings.
  • Four short-circuit protected Keyphasor transducer inputs with buffered outputs for DDI and front-panel monitoring.
  • Centralized setpoint adjustment, system reset, OK relay, and DDM/TDM data interface support.
The 3300/03-01-00 is the command center for your 3300 rack. From its front panel, you adjust alarm setpoints up or down across every monitor in the rack—no need to open individual monitors. The system reset function clears latched alarms after faults are resolved, getting your machinery back online faster. The OK relay continuously monitors every transducer in the rack; if any probe or cable fails, the relay changes state to annunciate the problem.

During startups and coast-downs, rotating machinery often passes through resonant speeds where vibration levels temporarily exceed normal operating limits. Without Trip Multiply, these transient vibrations would trigger false alarms and unnecessary shutdowns. The 3300/03-01-00 solves this by increasing alarm setpoints by 2X or 3X when activated by an external contact closure. A red LED on the front panel confirms Trip Multiply is active.

The 3300/03-01-00 powers up to four Keyphasor transducers with short-circuit protected DC voltage (-18V or -24V jumper-selectable). Two Keyphasor signals are distributed to rack monitors for speed and phase measurement; all four are available to the Dynamic Data Interface (DDI) for advanced analysis. Buffered Keyphasor outputs on the front panel let you connect portable analyzers without disturbing field wiring.

The 3300/03-01-00 Bently Nevada System Monitor may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Description
The 3300/03-01-00 is the enhanced basic system monitor for 3300 racks, offering setpoint adjustment, system reset, OK relay, and Trip Multiply functions. It powers and monitors four Keyphasor transducers with short-circuit protected outputs.

The 3300/03-01-00 features front-panel controls for upscale and downscale alarm setpoint adjustments across all monitors in the rack. Seven internal LEDs indicate supply voltages (+VRH, +VRL, +7.5V, +5V, REF, -7.5V, -VT) with a green front-panel SUPPLIES OK LED. The OK relay is normally energized and de-energizes on any transducer fault or power loss.

The 3300/03-01-00 supports rack inhibit and system reset functions through external contacts on the Power Input Module (PIM). It provides buffered Keyphasor signals at front-panel coaxial connectors and distributes four Keyphasor inputs to monitors and DDI.

This monitor solves the pain point of centralized rack management in 3300 systems. The 3300/03-01-00 delivers essential functions—setpoint adjust, system reset, OK relay, Trip Multiply, and Keyphasor distribution—while supporting DDM/TDM data acquisition.

FAQS

The following is a list of questions commonly asked by our customers. Please contact us if you have a question about our process that is not answered below.
What is the power-up inhibit delay on the 3300/03-01-00?
Approximately 2.1 seconds. This prevents monitors from alarming while power supplies stabilize after startup.
How many Keyphasor transducers does the 3300/03-01-00 support?
Four transducers. Two are available to rack monitors; all four are available to the Dynamic Data Interface (DDI).
What happens when Trip Multiply is activated?
Alarm setpoints (Alert and Danger) increase by 2X or 3X. This prevents false alarms during startups, coast-downs, or resonant speed crossings.
Does the OK relay indicate rack power loss?
Yes. The OK relay is normally energized. If rack power is lost or interrupted, the relay changes state—annunciating power failure.
