Features:
- The 330704-00-100-10-01-05 features an M14 x 1.5 metric thread configuration with armor protection.
- This model includes patented TipLoc molding and CableLoc design providing 330 N pull strength.
- The 330704-00-100-10-01-05 offers multiple agency approvals for global hazardous area deployment.
The 330704-00-100-10-01-05 incorporates patented TipLoc molding technology that provides a robust bond between the probe tip and the probe body. The probe cable is securely attached to the probe tip utilizing our patented CableLoc design that provides 330 N (75 lb) pull strength. This model comes standard with a locknut featuring pre-drilled safety wire holes for secure installation in critical applications where vibration could compromise standard fasteners.
The 330704-00-100-10-01-05 includes a connector protector for additional protection of the connectors in humid or moist environments. Connector protectors are recommended for all installations of the 330704-00-100-10-01-05 to provide increased environmental protection. With multiple agency approvals, this probe simplifies global deployment in hazardous and non-hazardous locations, ensuring compliance with international certification requirements.
The 330704-00-100-10-01-05 can be ordered with an optional FluidLoc cable option, which prevents oil and other liquids from leaking out of the machine through the cable's interior. This armored metric probe delivers reliable vibration and position monitoring while the patented TipLoc and CableLoc designs ensure long-term durability against mechanical stress. The 330704-00-100-10-01-05 represents a complete solution for applications requiring M14 x 1.5 mounting threads with armor protection and multiple agency approvals.

- Large Steam Turbines and Compressors: Primarily used for axial thrust displacement monitoring, as the axial movement of large rotors during startup or load changes may exceed the measurement limit of an 8mm probe.
- Expansion Monitoring: Measuring the thermal expansion displacement of the casing or rotor.
- Differential Expansion Measurement: Monitoring the relative displacement between the rotor and stator between the high-pressure and low-pressure cylinders.
- No Internal Firmware: The probe's internal components consist of a coil and a physical housing; it lacks a microprocessor or executable code, therefore firmware updates are neither required nor supported.
- System-Level Updates: For improved monitoring performance or compatibility, updates should be made to the hardware version of the connected 3500 Frame Communication Module (RIM) or 3300 XL Proximitor.
- Configuration Backup: Although the probe itself has no firmware, it is recommended to record the new "Gap Voltage" reference value in the 3500 software after probe replacement.
- Scale Factor: The standard is 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil). This differs from the 7.87 V/mm of the 8mm probe and must be manually confirmed; otherwise, the displacement reading will be halved or doubled.
- Physical calibration: During installation, a feeler gauge or voltmeter must be used for "electrical alignment". The initial displacement voltage is usually set at the middle of the linear range (about -10V DC).
