Features:

  • TipLoc Probe-Tip Construction
  • System-Level EMC and RFI Performance
  • ClickLoc Secure Locking Mechanism
The 3300 XL probe uses Bently Nevada’s TipLoc molding method to provide a robust bond between the probe tip and probe body. Its CableLoc design provides a rated pull strength of 330 N (75 lbf) between the probe case and probe lead.

When connected as part of a complete 3300 XL 8 mm system, the system supports vibration and position measurements. EMC and RFI performance depends on the complete installed transducer system and wiring configuration.

The probe uses a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector. The locking mechanism helps prevent the connector from loosening, and two 3300 XL ClickLoc connectors are tightened finger-tight.

No official OEM end-of-life notice for 330101-00-39-10-02-05 was identified in the reviewed Bently Nevada documentation. Availability should be confirmed at the time of quotation.

Description
Bently Nevada 330101-00-39-10-02-05 is a standard 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe with a 3/8-24 UNF threaded case and no armor. It has a 0.0-inch unthreaded length, a 3.9-inch overall case length and a 1.0-meter standard probe cable.

The probe is supplied with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector without a connector protector. The -05 ordering option identifies the CSA, ATEX and IECEx agency-approval option; exact approval and installation requirements must be verified against the applicable official approval documentation.

For operation, use the probe with a compatible 1.0-meter 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. A 1.0-meter system uses the probe directly and does not require an extension cable. The complete system is intended for non-contacting vibration and position measurements on conductive targets.

Technical notes
Use this 1.0-meter probe with a 330180 Proximitor Sensor configured for a 1.0-meter system length. No extension cable is used. For a standard 1-meter system, the nominal incremental scale factor is 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil) ±5% under the conditions specified in Datasheet 141194. Maintain a minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in).

FAQS

The following is a list of questions commonly asked by our customers. Please contact us if you have a question about our process that is not answered below.
Does 330101-00-39-10-02-05 require firmware or software?
No. The probe itself does not contain firmware or software. It must be connected to a compatible 1.0-meter 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. Compatibility with a monitor or software platform must be verified separately for the selected monitoring channel.
Does the probe support industrial communication protocols?
No. The probe is an analog transducer-system component and has no digital communication protocol. It connects by coaxial cable to a compatible 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. Any 4–20 mA, relay or digital communications functions depend on the downstream monitoring equipment.
What measurements can the complete 3300 XL 8 mm system provide?
The complete system can measure static position and dynamic vibration. The recommended radial-vibration gap setting is approximately -9 Vdc, corresponding to approximately 1.27 mm (50 mils). Diagnostic functions depend on the connected monitoring and software system.
What installation limits apply?
Maintain a minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in). For adjacent probes, Bently Nevada generally specifies at least 40 mm (1.6 in) tip separation for axial measurements or 38 mm (1.5 in) for radial vibration measurements to limit cross-talk. Follow the applicable installation drawing for hazardous-area installations.
What agency approval option does this model include?
The -05 suffix identifies the CSA, ATEX and IECEx agency-approval option. The exact protection method, hazardous-area classification, certificate scope and installation requirements must be verified using Bently Nevada Approvals Quick Reference Guide 108M1756 and the applicable installation drawings.
