Features:
- ±25 mils bidirectional full-scale range captures axial thrust movement in both positive and negative directions from center.
- Two-wire loop-powered design with 35 mm DIN rail mounting simplifies installation and reduces wiring complexity.
- 7.0 meter system length enables remote Proximitor sensor placement without additional extension cables.
The 991-25-70-01-00 measures axial displacement in both directions, with a ±25 mils range centered at 12 mA output. When the shaft moves toward the probe, output increases toward 20 mA; when it moves away, output decreases toward 4 mA. This bipolar measurement captures thrust bearing wear and rotor position changes.
DIN rail mounting and loop-powered design make this transmitter easy to add to OEM control panels. Snap it onto the rail, connect the 4-20 mA loop, and wire the 3300 NSv probe input. No external power supply, no configuration software, no complex setup—just a proportional thrust signal.
The 7.0 meter system length lets you locate the Proximitor sensor in a control cabinet away from the machine. The transmitter accepts 3300 NSv probes with extension cables in 5 m or 7 m options, giving flexibility for machine layouts where the measurement point and electronics are separated.
The 991-25-70-01-00 Bently Nevada Thrust Transmitter may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond
End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- Rotating Machinery Monitoring: Widely used in centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans.
- Thrust Position Measurement: Specifically monitors equipment with fluid-film thrust bearings to prevent mechanical damage caused by excessive axial displacement.
- OEM System Integration: Suitable for applications requiring direct connection of simple 4-20 mA proportional signals to PLC or DCS control systems without the need for expensive continuous monitoring architectures (such as the 3500 system).
- Signal Transmission: Employs an industry-standard 4-20 mA analog current loop output, with current magnitude proportional to the axial position of the axis.
- Input Interface: Accepts input signals from the 3300 NSv proximity probe and its associated extension cable.
- Diagnostic Output (PROX OUT): Equipped with a non-isolated coaxial connector, it outputs dynamic vibration and gap voltage signals for analysis by field diagnostic instruments.
- Electrical Safety: Equipped with a Not OK/signal suppression circuit. When the probe is damaged or the connection is loose, the signal output drops below 3.6 mA, effectively preventing false alarms.
- Environmental Protection: The housing is potted, allowing it to withstand humid environments with up to 100% condensation.
- Compliance: Complies with FCC Part 15 regulations regarding electromagnetic interference and is CE marked with the European Union.
- Power-On Protection: Built-in power-on suppression circuit prevents erroneous alarm signals caused by voltage transients during system startup.
