- 8 mm probe geometry supports non-contact shaft displacement and vibration measurement
- Armored cable construction protects the fixed probe lead in mechanically exposed routes
- The ordering code defines a compact M10×1 mounting and matched converter connection
Emerson PR6423-010-000 is the commercial hyphen form of the official PR6423/010-000 ordering configuration.
Its code identifies the probe armor, sleeve, adapter, total cable length, and connector needed to reproduce the installed measuring chain.
Confirm the converter pairing, target material, shaft diameter, probe gap, mounting, armor path, temperature, and approval conditions before commissioning.
Availability, condition, price, and shipping time for PR6423-010-000 are confirmed during quotation.

- Use a stiff, vibration-free holder with a clean M10×1 mounting thread
- After final gap adjustment, leave at least two threads free toward the sensor head
- Tighten the PR6423 fixing nuts to no more than 15 N·m
- Do not shorten the PR6423 sensor cable or extension cable; coil excess cable with a diameter of at least 100 mm
- Maintain a minimum bending radius of 35 mm for the armored cable and metal protection tube
- Cover the connected LEMO adapter plug completely with the supplied shrink sleeve and do not turn the LEMO connectors when disconnecting them
- Temperature error is below 4% per 100 K and is documented as API 670 compliant
- The sensor head withstands the documented 10,000 hPa pressure condition
- At room temperature, the sensor and cable are documented as resistant to water, steam, natural gas, helium, bearing oils, and gasoline
- Measure radial or axial shaft displacement without mechanical contact
- Monitor position, eccentricity, vibration, or speed/key behavior with the matched converter
- Use the armored probe where the cable route needs mechanical protection after verifying gap, mounting, and temperature
