Features:
- Divides eight voltage outputs into two isolated banks
- Supports bipolar and unipolar scaling with 14-bit conversion
- Provides configurable local defaults and optional diagnostic data
IC670ALG310 exchanges up to eight analog output words with the BIU and can also allocate optional input bits for diagnostics and output bits for fault clearing.
When a channel is marked inactive, IC670ALG310 drives that output to zero; active channels follow their configured range, scale, and commanded engineering-unit values.
Output power must come from an 18 to 30 VDC user source. Keep the two isolated returns correctly separated and terminate cable shields at the local panel ground.
Apter Power can assist with documentation and configuration checks for the General Electric IC670ALG310 8-Point Isolated Analog Voltage-Source Output Module.

Isolated Channel Arrangement:
- Output count: Eight voltage channels are available for analog command signals.
- Group isolation: The channels are divided into two electrically isolated groups of four outputs.
- Voltage limits: Hardware output extends to approximately −10.25 V and +10.25 V.
- User load: Each voltage output is specified for a load of 5 kΩ or greater.
Response and Electrical Separation:
- Resolution: The digital-to-analog path provides 14-bit output resolution.
- Accuracy: Maximum error at 25°C is specified as 0.15% of full scale.
- Update time: A commanded channel value is updated in approximately 1.5 ms.
- Isolation test: User outputs are isolated from logic and ground at 1500 VAC peak for one minute.
Scaling and Default Behavior:
- Preset mapping: Bipolar ±10 V and unipolar 0 to 10 V scaling are available before custom values are applied.
- Channel trim: Field recalibration can adjust the individual output response, with calibration retained in nonvolatile memory.
- Fault indication: Optional diagnostic bits identify channel under- and overrange conditions.
- Output fallback: Zero or hold-last-state behavior can be selected for network or local failure conditions.
