Description
The IS200ECTBG1A Exciter Contact Terminal Board (ECTBG1) is a key component of the GE EX2100 Excitation Control system, designed specifically for redundant operation.  It provides precise excitation contact outputs and monitors critical contact inputs to ensure reliable generator control and protection.

This board features two trip contact outputs for driving customer lockout and four general-purpose Form-C relay outputs, all controlled via the EMIO interface board.  Additionally, it supports six auxiliary contact inputs powered at 70 V DC and monitors the 52G and 86G contact inputs, allowing seamless integration with the excitation system.

Designed for high-reliability industrial environments, the IS200ECTBG1A operates across a temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C, with storage capability from –55 °C to +90 °C.  Each relay is rated at 28 V DC and electrically isolated up to 500 V DC channel-to-earth, ensuring safe and robust operation.

The board is rack-mounted in the EX2100 Excitation Control cabinet and works closely with the EMIO board, providing both control and monitoring functionality.  Its compact design and redundant operation make it an essential module for high-availability generator excitation systems.
