Features:
- Converts 24 V DC into separate regulated 5 V CPU/I/O and HIBUS supplies
- Delivers 10 A to central/I/O electronics and 1 A to HIBUS
- Input and both output groups have individual front-panel indication
F7130A is the dedicated H41q rack supply for the central device, I/O electronics, and HIBUS rather than a general cabinet converter.
Galvanically isolated conversion paths keep the 10 A CPU/I/O branch independent of the 1 A bus feed, while overvoltage and short-circuit protection contain faults inside the power stage.
The monitoring signal reaches the central device separately through pin z16, so diagnosis must compare the LEDs with measured input and output voltages.
HIMA F7130A 24 V DC to 5 V DC power supply module is a legacy H41q component; Apter Power can check available stock and provide the official module data sheet for replacement planning.

F7130A regulated supply paths
- Plant input: The converter accepts 24 V DC with the stated -15% to +20% tolerance.
- CPU and I/O feed: One 5 V output supplies central-device and I/O electronics at up to 10 A.
- HIBUS feed: A separate regulated 5 V branch supplies the HIBUS at up to 1 A.
- Conversion efficiency: The DC/DC stages operate at a specified efficiency of at least 70%.
F7130A front-panel indications
- Input LED: The L+ indicator reports presence of the incoming 24 V supply.
- HIBUS LED: A dedicated +5 V HIBUS lamp reflects the bus-output branch.
- CPU/EA LED: The second +5 V lamp corresponds to the central-device and I/O output.
- Brightness nuance: Slight illumination of the CPU/EA lamp can occur while the module is still operating correctly.
F7130A fault containment
- Galvanic barrier: Electrical isolation separates the input circuit from the low-voltage outputs.
- Overvoltage defense: The regulated branches include protection against excessive output voltage.
- Current control: Internal limiting restrains demand beyond the permitted conversion load.
- Short-circuit response: Both outputs are designed to withstand a short circuit without losing their protective function.
F7130A rack-side connections
- Input feed: The 24 V DC input uses L+ at z2, L- at d32 and d2, and protective earth at d4.
- CPU and I/O branch: The regulated 5 V CPU/EA supply is routed through the dedicated central-device and I/O contacts.
- HIBUS branch: The separate HIBUS output uses z14 for 5 V and d14 for the corresponding return.
- Monitoring point: Pin z16 carries the separately supplied central-device monitoring signal identified as NG.
