Features:
- HE800GCM911 accepts four configurable inputs.
- Two outputs provide +/-10 VDC commands.
- One 500 Hz PWM output supports pulse control.
Horner HE800GCM911 combines two analog inputs, one resistance input, and one magnetic-pickup input for generator-related measurements.
Its output section supplies two bipolar voltage references and a separate PWM channel for command and regulation functions.
Cscape assigns the channel modes, while the documented large-memory host requirement guides controller selection.
The Horner HE800GCM911 SmartStack Generator Control Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- Bipolar Voltage: Channel 1 accepts a plus or minus 10 VDC signal, so it can follow values that move above and below a zero reference. It should not be treated as an interchangeable copy of the unipolar voltage channel.
- Speed Pickup: Channel 2 is dedicated to a 1 to 25 VAC magnetic-pickup signal from 100 Hz to 15 kHz. This path lets rotational speed information enter the controller without converting the pickup to a standard DC input first.
- DC and Resistance: Channel 3 measures 0 to 35 VDC, while Channel 4 measures 0 to 1000 ohms. Their different electrical functions allow voltage and resistive conditions to be monitored beside the speed signal.
- Analog Commands: Two plus or minus 10 VDC outputs provide signed command references for compatible equipment. Their bipolar range is useful when the receiving device interprets positive and negative values as opposite control directions.
- PWM Channel: The separate PWM output uses a 500 Hz carrier rather than an analog voltage level. It is therefore intended for devices that respond to duty-cycle control instead of a continuous bipolar reference.
- Mixed I/O Purpose: Voltage, resistance, magnetic-pickup, analog-output, and PWM functions are combined because generator control uses several signal types at once. The module avoids forcing these unlike signals into identical channels.
- Controller Memory: MAN0813 requires a large-memory controller, including the listed OCS110 or OCS210, OCS250 or higher, and RCS250 examples. A host without the required memory should not be selected only because it accepts SmartStack hardware.
- Channel Assignment: Each input has a defined electrical role, so the Cscape configuration must preserve the channel-to-sensor mapping. Moving a sensor to another terminal can change the supported signal type, not merely its address.
- Engineering Values: Raw input and output data must be scaled for the connected generator signals in the control program. The configured engineering range should follow the fixed channel range documented for the module.
- Speed Feedback: The magnetic-pickup path can bring rotating-speed information from compatible generator or engine pickup hardware into the controller. Its frequency and voltage window should be matched to the actual pickup signal.
- Condition Monitoring: The separate bipolar, unipolar, and resistance inputs let electrical and sensor conditions be observed at the same time. This is more useful than a bank of identical inputs when the monitored quantities use different signal forms.
- Command Integration: Bipolar analog references and PWM control can return commands after the controller processes the measured values. The receiving regulator or actuator must match the selected output type.
