- 32-point commoned TMR output architecture for nominal 24 V DC field circuits
- Programmable point supervision with selectable short/open-circuit detection thresholds
- Tricon v10.2-and-later compatibility with 16-point commoned field termination panels
3625 is an Invensys Tricon 32-point TMR supervised or non-supervised digital output module for Tricon v10.2 and later systems.
Three isolated output channels receive their respective processor commands, and a fault-tolerant quad-voter applies the voted signal to each commoned 24 V DC field output. Voltage and current loopback circuits support online output and field-circuit diagnostics.
Before installation or replacement, verify the Tricon system version, compatible commoned termination panels, field-power arrangement, connected load, wiring, and programmed supervision thresholds.
Availability, condition, price, and shipping time for 3625 are confirmed during quotation.

- Voltage and current loopback circuits validate output-switch operation and provide field-state feedback to the module diagnostics.
- Output diagnostic fault coverage tests the switching path every 60 ms; the published diagnostic glitch is 2 ms maximum and 200 µs typical.
- Each point has an On/Off indicator and Load field alarm; module status indicators are Pass, Fault, Load, and Active.
- 3625 can be installed only in Tricon v10.2 and later systems.
- Low-density Tricon systems must be upgraded to v10.2.x or later before 3625 installation.
- The module is compatible with 16-point commoned field termination panels and supports energize-to-trip and de-energize-to-trip applications.
- Output switches are self-protected against over-voltage, over-temperature, and over-current, so field-termination fuses are not required.
- Output switches include self-protection against inductive kick-back from connected field loads.
- System-to-field isolation is 1,500 V DC minimum, while point supervision and short/open detection thresholds are programmable per point.
- Emergency shutdown systems in process-safety installations
- Burner management systems for boilers, burners, furnaces, and heaters
- Fire and gas protection systems in high-hazard process facilities
