Features:
- Controls sixteen commoned 24 VDC field outputs.
- Uses a supervised TMR path for every output point.
- Reports field-power, fuse, load, and output-short conditions.
Triconex 3624 accepts a 16 to 30 VDC field range and limits each steady-state output point to 0.7 A.
The supervision circuit requires a minimum connected load of 30 mA so the module can distinguish open-load and field-power conditions.
A 4.8 A, 10 ms surge allowance supports field loads with a short initial current rise while preserving the point rating.
The Triconex 3624 TMR Supervised Digital Output Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Triplicated Output Control
- Redundancy: Three control paths participate in each supervised output decision.
- Point Count: Sixteen field outputs are provided in one commoned arrangement.
- Voltage Drop: The on-state module drop is less than 1.5 V typical.
- Leakage: Output leakage is limited to 4 mA maximum.
Field-Circuit Monitoring
- Power Loss: Supervision detects loss of the external field supply.
- Fuse State: A blown output fuse is included in the monitored conditions.
- Load Path: An open or missing field load can be reported.
- Incorrect Drive: Certain shorts that energize an output unexpectedly are detected.
Termination and Backplane Path
- Field Termination: Output wiring lands on the designated external termination panel.
- Module Cable: The termination assembly connects to the Tricon backplane through its cable.
- Keying: Mechanical keys distinguish the correct module position.
- Commoned Supply: The sixteen output circuits share the defined field-power arrangement.
Controller and Field Feedback
- Command Check: The module compares commanded output information with returned circuit state.
- Channel Data: Diagnostic results are communicated to the Tricon controller.
- Load Threshold: A 30 mA minimum load maintains the supervision measurement path.
- Power Demand: The module load remains below 10 W.
