Features:
- Two digital inputs report external switching states.
- The meter retains minimum and maximum measured values.
- Current-flow evaluation can be inverted separately for each phase.
The connection-type setting on 7KM3133-0BA00-3AA0 distinguishes three-wire from four-wire measurement. It determines which electrical quantities can be formed from the available voltage connections.
Local parameter groups on 7KM3133-0BA00-3AA0 separate measurement settings, communication, energy counters and display behavior. A change to display presentation is not a change to transformer scaling.
The rear openings of 7KM3133-0BA00-3AA0 are not expansion-module slots. The instrument does not support adding an expansion module through those openings.
The Siemens 7KM3133-0BA00-3AA0 SENTRON PAC3100 Power Monitoring Device may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Coordinate the meter with the serial bus master
- Address assignment: Every meter on the bus must have its own address.
- Framing: Baud rate, parity and stop-bit settings must agree with the master configuration.
- Response timing: The response-time setting can leave the reply timing automatic or insert the selected delay.
- Bus bias: The RS485 interface has no internal polarization resistors, so the required bus polarization is external.
Choose a command output or an energy pulse stream
- Disabled output: The OFF action leaves the selected digital output inactive.
- Remote switching: The REMOTE OUTPUT action takes its switching command through RS485.
- Energy source: ENERGY PULSE associates the output with an active or reactive, import or export counter.
- Pulse spacing: The minimum pause between energy pulses equals the configured pulse duration.
Adjust presentation without changing the measured circuit
- Contrast: The contrast setting changes the visibility of the LCD characters.
- Inversion: Display inversion exchanges the light and dark presentation of text and background.
- Backlight timing: The dimming timer switches off the backlight after its configured interval.
- Screen test: The display test provides a separate screen for checking the LCD presentation.
Distinguish write protection from the different reset groups
- Password protection: Enabling the numeric password protects changes to device settings while leaving data readable.
- Reset selection: Minimum/maximum values, counters, communication parameters and factory settings are selectable reset groups.
- Factory reset: Restoring factory settings restarts the device, clears counters and disables password protection.
- Communication exception: The factory-default group excludes communication parameters; those have a separate reset selection.
